The man who calls himself Constantine is an enigma. He can be the abrasive office worker who was your coworker for only a week, but said things to you which you'll never forget. He may be the man in a back alley who you thought you could trust, only to find your pockets empty and a hole in your memory. He's not a bad man, but he's not what someone would typically describe as good.

The truth is Constantine is a magician, a thief, a conman, whatever he feels like making himself out to be that particular week. He could charm the pants off of you in one sentence, and make you curse his name with the next. For John, it's all about making it to the next day alive, and damned if he's going to follow some set course of morals or codes.

Constantine lives by his own rules, and is willing to deal and barter with anyone, and everyone. As long as what you have to offer is worth his interest.
